Application Process/Timeline

Application Details

UCSF Health is a member of the National Council of Administrative Fellowships (NCAF), a collaboration of leading administrative fellowship sites and graduate health management programs. For the upcoming application cycle, UCSF Health is participating in the National Administrative Fellowship Centralized Application System (NAFCAS). NAFCAS streamlines the application process and reduces duplicative efforts for applicants by providing a standardized online interface to apply to your preferred fellowship sites.

Please ensure to follow the instructions as incomplete applications will not be considered.

Please include in your application:

  1. Cover letter expressing interest in the fellowship
  2. Current Resume
  3. Personal Statement
    1. Applicants should write a one-two page summary of their professional goals within healthcare, specifying areas of interest and reasons for pursuing an administrative fellowship at UCSF Health. Applicants should also describe their interest in healthcare leadership and outline specific contributions they would make to the medical center.
  4. Three (3) letters of recommendation
    1. Professional (able to speak to your professional presence, skills, abilities, i.e. supervisor, preceptor, direct manager)
    2. Academic (able to speak to your academic presence and performance, i.e. academic program director, professor, faculty advisor)
    3. Other (academic, professional, or from your program director)
  5. Official Graduate School Transcript
