Once a traditional hospital in the heart of San Francisco, our Mount Zion complex is now a respected hub of specialty clinics and surgical services, including cancer care, women’s health, audiology, cochlear implant center, dermatology, plus adult and pediatric primary care. Eight operating rooms and a 90-bed inpatient unit also complement this campus. Undoubtedly our best-known facility at Mount Zion is the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, a winner of the National Cancer Institute’s highest designation for innovative research and cutting-edge patient care. This state-of-the-art, five-story outpatient center hosts a variety of support services for patients and their families. For instance, the Cancer Resource Center features books, pamphlets and other reading material, plus computers with Internet access, to help those gathering health information. Also housed at Mount Zion are other specialized centers: Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, Sports Medicine Center, Women’s Health, Sleep Disorders Clinic and Pain Management Center.
